Fencing En Garde for ACC Championships

Eagles travel to Chapel Hill for ACC Fencing Championships on Saturday and Sunday
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Boston College Fencing is set to compete at the 2025 ACC Fencing Championships, which will be held Feb. 22-23 at the Eddie Smith Field House on the campus of the University of North Carolina.
The ACC Fencing competition will kick off on Saturday at 8:00 a.m. with the Women's individual pool play. The fencers will battle to reach the semifinals, which will be held at 11:30 a.m. The Women's individual championship will be held at Noon.
Saturday's events will start back up at 1:30 p.m. with round 1 of the Men's team event. There will be a total of five rounds of the Men's team event.
Day 2 of the ACC Fencing Championship on Sunday will begin at 8:00 a.m. with the Men's individual pool play. The athletes will battle each other trying to reach the semifinals and finals for the individual championship, which will be held at Noon.
Round 1 of the Women's team event will start at 1:30, which will be followed by four more rounds to reach a team ACC champion.
There will be individual and team champions awarded throughout the meet. North Carolina is the defending champion on the Men's side and leads the ACC with nine total titles, while Notre Dame is the defending Women's team champion and leads with eight total titles.
