Three-Game Set at New Orleans Up Next For Eagles

Series opener scheduled for Friday at 6:30 p.m.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Boston College Baseball will travel to the University of New Orleans to face the Privateers in a three-game series from Friday 2/21 to Sunday 2/23. The Eagles are coming off a 1-1 split against USC Upstate on opening weekend, taking game two 11-9 after falling on Opening Day.
The Eagles and Privateers will meet for the first time this Friday, with Todd Interdonato facing New Orleans for the first time as a head coach this weekend as well.
Game times are currently scheduled for Friday at 6:30 p.m., Saturday at 12:00 p.m., and Sunday at 1:00 p.m. Friday's and Sunday's games can be streamed on ESPN+.

- The Eagles rallied for the series split with a game-two victory, powered by two home runs from Kyle Wolff, including a go-ahead, two-run shot in the eighth inning.
- Nick Wang hit his first homer of the season to leadoff the ninth inning of game two, sending it 114mph off the bat for a critical insurance run.
- After missing all of 2024, Joey Ryan dominated in his return to the mound, tossing two perfect innings with three strikeouts to earn the save in game two.
- Peter Schaefer hadn't appeared in a game since 2021, missing three years with Tommy John and a torn ACL. In his first outing back, he retired all four batters he faced, logging one strikeout.
- Through two games, the Eagles lead the ACC in stolen bases with 10.
- Jack Toomey homered and drove in three runs in his first game with BC last Friday. Toomey leads the team in batting average heading into the second weekend.
- Eric Schroeder tossed three scoreless innings to start Opening Day, allowing just two hits with no walks issued.
