
No. 15 Huskies Outlast the Eagles

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's hockey team fell to No.15 Northeastern Huskies in overtime on Firday afternoon.
Boston College went on the power play 35 seconds into the game. Gaby Roy found the back of the off redirecting Jade Arnone's shot 49 seconds into the game. Trica Piku added to BC lead at 1:59 on the clock. The Huskies cut BC's lead in half scoring on the power play at 5:47 on the clock. The Eagles went into the first intermission with a 2-1 lead.
In the second frame, the Huskies tied the game up three minutes into the frame. Kate Ham scored her to give the Eagles the 3-2 lead five minutes into the period. Northeastern scored back-to-back goals, to send give the Huskies at 4-3 lead heading into the final period.
In the third period, Sammy Taber tied the game up at four apiece at 6:31. Neither side could break the score sending the game to overtime. Northeastern was able to score in overtime to give them the 5-4 victory.
