Fifteen Eagles Claim All-ACC Academic Team Honors

Four graduates complete careers as three-time Academic Team members.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Fifteen Boston College football players earned All-ACC Academic Team honors as announced by the conference office on Friday. It marks the second year in a row that 15 or more Eagles claimed Academic Team status.
Drew Kendall (Norwell, Mass.), Joe Marinaro (Wayzata, Minn.), Dino Tomlin (Pittsburgh, Pa.) and Ozzy Trapilo (Norwell, Mass.) all completed their careers as three-time Academic Team members. Two players earned their second career honors, including Jack Funke (Needham, Mass.) and Kamari Morales (Buck Lake, Fla.), who earned his first Academic Team recognition at North Carolina in 2021.
All representatives on the team achieved a 3.0 grade-point average in the fall 2024 semester and a cumulative 3.0 GPA, while participating in at least half of the team's games.
First-time honorees included Kevin Cline (Boca Raton, Fla.), Josiah Griffin (Springfield, Mass.), Bugg Jones (Richmond, Va.), Jayden McGowan (Laurens, S.C.), Ryan Mickow (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.), Jonathan Montague Jr. (Zebulon, N.C.), Treshaun Ward (Plant City, Fla.), Bryant Worrell (Dublin, Va.) and Juan Zabal (Mexico City, Mexico).
