Julia Pellerin tallied three points in the loss
ANDOVER, Mass. – Boston College Women's Hockey fell to the Merrimack Warriors 4-2 on Saturday afternoon at Lawler Rink.
Merrimack took a quick lead, scoring three goals in the game's first six minutes. The Eagles were able to create an offensive opportunity with Julia Pellerin carrying the puck for BC's defensive zone to find Katie Pyne who found the back of the net. The Warriors held on to a 3-1 advantage into the first intermission.
In the second frame, six minutes into the period, the Eagles cut Merrimack's lead to one on a goal from Julia Pellerin in the slot. Six minutes later, the Warriors regained the two-goal lead, giving them a 4-2 lead heading into the final intermission.
Pellerin scored her second goal of the game at 12:54 in the third period, making it a one-goal game. Merrimack scored the final goal of the game at 18:42, giving them the 5-3 advantage.
