
Swimming and Dive Hosts Fordham on Senior Day

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving returns to the pool on Friday, Nov. 7. The Eagles will host Fordham beginning at 4 p.m. for senior day. Live results of the meet can be viewed via the Meet Mobile apps.Â
Scouting the Rams
Friday's meet will be Fordham's fifth meet of the season for the women's team and its fourth for the men's team. The women are 4-1 this season with wins over Towson, St. Bonaventure, Manhattan, and Fairfield. The men's lone win came over Manhattan. Tom Wilkens coaches the Rams while Zhihua Hu leads the diving program.Â
Last Time vs FordhamÂ
Boston College traveled to the Bronx last season and was swept in both competitions. The men lost 141-157 while the women fell 145-155. Megan Kramer, Ben Huffman, Lauren Lee, Samantha Smith, and Jack Doyle all won multiple events. Peter Nolan, Anthony Rosenberger, and Angus Williams all won their events along with the 400 free relay on the women's side.Â
Last Time Out
Boston College made the short trip to Boston University last Friday to compete against the Terriers and Army. The Eagles split with BU while being swept by the Black Knights. BC recorded one individual win and one relay victory. Palmer Bice hit the wall in 1:39.39 to win the 200 free, while the men's 200 free relay team set a school record of 1:20.22 to win. Matt Lang, who was part of the 200 free relay team, also set the third fastest time in the 50 free with a time of 20.16.
