Eagles welcome Harvard for 53rd all-time meeting
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College returns from Charleston to host Harvard in a midweek showdown on The Edgerley Family Court at Conte Forum. Tip off is set for 4:00 p.m. and can be seen on ACCNX.
BOSTON COLLEGE VS. HARVARDÂ - ALL-TIME SERIES
- Wednesday marks the 53rd all-time meeting between BC and Harvard.
- The Eagles hold an all-time series lead of 36-16. The most recent matchup saw BC earn a 73-64 victory over the Crimson.
- Harvard is one of four teams that BC has played over 50 times that isn't from the ACC or Big East.
BOSTON COLLEGE vs. IVY LEAGUE
- The Eagles are 98-31 all-time vs. current Ivy League teams.
- Boston College's most recent contest came against Dartmouth last season, where they fell 83-88. Donald Hand Jr. and Fred Payne combined for 13 points and eight rebounds.
- Harvard will be the only representative from the Ivy League that BC faces this season.
LAST TIME OUT
- Boston College fell 93-90 to Tulane in overtime at the Shriners Children's Charleston Classic Friday afternoon in TD Arena.
- Donald Hand Jr. led the Eagles with 26 points. Chase Forte added 22 points, while Fred Payne contributed 15 points and four assists.
- Payne and Shaw extended their respective streaks in scoring and rebounding, while Forte and Hand Jr. recorded season highs in points.
EDGERLEY FAMILY COURT
- The basketball court at Silvio O. Conte Forum will officially be named the Edgerley Family Court starting this season.
- The Edgerley's are active members of the Parents Leadership Council and are supporters of undergraduate financial aid at Boston College, having co-chaired Pops on the Heights in 2023 and 2024.
- Sandra Edgerley serves on the Boston College Board of Trustees, where she is a member of the Academic Affairs Committee. Paul Edgerley is a senior advisor at Bain Capital, where he was a managing director and played a leadership role for more than 30 years.
- The court is a lasting symbol of the Edgerleys' commitment to enhancing the tradition of excellence at Boston College.

CAREERÂ ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Boden Kapke logged a career-high 17 points, and Fred Payne dished a career-high seven assists against FAU (11/3).Â
- Marko Radunovic and Caleb Steger made their collegiate debuts against FAU. Radunovic recorded eight points, going 2-3 from behind the arc, and Steger played five minutes with two field goal attempts. Caleb Steger registered his first career points with a 3-pointer against The Citadel. He finished the night with eight points, going 2-for-3 from deep.
- Jason Asemota flourished in the home-opener against The Citadel (11/6), grabbing a career-high nine points and adding four rebounds to lead all bench scorers.Â
- Chase Forte swatted a career-high three blocks against Central Connecticut State (11/11).
- Aidan Shaw secured a career-high 14 rebounds and matched a career-high in blocks (5) against Temple (11/15). He became the first BC player to record five or more blocks since Quinten Post did against Louisville (2/13/24).
- Shaw dished a career-high three assists against Hampton (11/18).
- Hastings grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds and registered his first career double-double (11p/10r) against Davidson (11/21).
SIZZLING STREAKS
- Fred Payne currently rides a five game streak of double digit scoring. His season best 17 points against CCSU and Temple kickstarted that streak, with his most recent display of 15 points coming against Tulane.
- Aidan Shaw continues his streak of at least eight rebounds per game. His most recent performance saw him collect 10 boards against Tulane.
INSTANT IMPACT
- The freshmen tandem of Radunovic and Steger have translated well through the first two games, combining for 5.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per game.Â
- Kapke, Chase Forte, Jason Asemota, and Aidan Shaw are making their presence known on Chestnut Hill. The quadruple is averaging a combined 28.1 points, 18.5 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 3.0 blocks and 2.0 steals per game.
- Individually, Shaw leads the team in rebounds (9.3), and Forte ranks tied for first on the team in assists (3.1).
RISING ABOVE THE CROWD
- Boston College is making their mark nationally through the first five games this season.
- Defensively, the Eagles rank 29th in the nation and fourth in the ACC in blocks per game (5.4). Shaw is fourth in the ACC individually in total blocks (11) and Hastings ranks 6th (10). The team also holds the 53rd best scoring defense (66.4).
- BC is cleaning up the boards efficiently, collecting 41.9 boards per game, good for 49th in the NCAA. The team is also taking care of the ball, allowing just 10.0 turnovers per game. That mark ranks 38th in the nation and third in the ACC.
