
Softball Announces Signing Class of 2026

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College Softball has announced that three student-athletes have signed their agreements to play softball at BC starting in the fall of 2026, according to head coach Beth Krysiak. The signing class includes student athletes from Arizona, Michigan and Missouri.
Joining the Eagles next fall are Kaelyn Moffitt from Scottsdale Ariz., Mia Taylor from Brownstown, Mich. and Charlotte Garrison from Kansas City, Mo.
Kaelyn Moffitt- Ariz., Infield
- Attends Chaparral High School
- Plays travel ball for Arizona Rising
- 2025 18U PGF Premier Champions
- 2024 16U PGF Premier 3rd Place
- Was named her high school's 2025 Player of the Year
- 2025 All Region Offensive Player of the Year
- Is a three-time First Team All-Region (2025, 2024, 2023)
Coach Krysiak - "We are looking forward to the power Moffitt adds at the plate and depth she brings to the corner infield positions. Kaelyn is someone who has the ability to make an offensive impact and bring a competitive edge to the Boston College softball program."
Mia Taylor- Mich., Utility
- Attends Woodhaven High School
- Plays travel ball for Birmingham Thunderbolts
- Holds high school's record for single-season triples with 17
- Has been named to the All-League, All-District, All-Region and All-Academic for three consecutive seasons; 2023-25
- Earned First Team All-State in 2025
Coach Krysiak - "Mia's speed, athleticism, and presence on the left side of the plate will bring a fresh look to Boston College. We are excited for her versatility and positivity to be added to the roster!"
Charlotte Garrison- Mo., Catcher
- Attends Liberty High School
- Plays travel ball for Top Gun
- Has held above a .380 batting average and above a 1.100 on base percentage two consecutive years
- Team placed third at the Missouri State Class 5 Softball Championships in 2022
- Was named MVP and earned a Golden Glove in 2024
- She was First Team All-District and All-Conference in 2023 and 2024
Coach Krysiak - "Charlotte brings a big presence and IQ behind the plate to Boston College softball. Her ability to shut down the run game, amazing instincts as a catcher, and high energy in the field will help to continue to elevate the program."
