The Bill O’Brien Podcast Joins The Podcast For Boston Channel

Official Podcast of Boston College Athletics Welcomes Head Football Coach’s Show
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Podcast For Boston, the official podcast of Boston College Athletics, formally welcomed The Bill O'Brien Podcast to its feed on Wednesday. The show will be published simultaneously to The Podcast For Boston and the original Bill O'Brien Podcast feed through the week of Feb. 10 before audio of all episodes moves exclusively to BC's official channel.
The Bill O'Brien Podcast is hosted by BC head football coach Bill O'Brien and the voice of BC football Jon Meterparel. O'Brien, Meterparel and producer/engineer Stephen Ciaccio launched the show in the summer of 2024 and recently published episode 29.
The show covers BC football, contemporary sports topics, pop culture and O'Brien's background from growing up in Massachusetts to coaching for his hometown school and everything in between. Episodes regularly feature guests from sports and media with appearances from actor/comedian/producer Mike O'Malley (episode 15), ESPN broadcaster Sean McDonough (episode 21), Milwaukee Brewers gold glove winner Sal Frelick (episode 23) and several others.
Boston College Athletics' official podcast channel rebranded to The Podcast For Boston in the fall of 2022. The feed features its flagship show The Podcast For Boston; a feature series by Dan Rubin with interviews of BC coaches and student-athletes. The student-led Around The Heights show is hosted by women's hockey forward Katie Pyne and WZBC Sports broadcaster GIovanni Culotta with updates and interviews from across BC athletics. Rubin and Eric Gallanty, the voice of Hockey East, also host the BC Hockey Report with in-season, weekly coverage of the Eagles' men's and women's programs.
