2026 ACC Kickoff Attendees Announced

Three Eagles paired with O'Brien for mid-July event
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Quarterback Mason McKenzie, linebacker Anthony Palano and safety KP Price will join Gregory P. Barber '69 and Family Head Coach Bill O'Brien in representing Boston College at the 2026 ACC Kickoff on Thursday, July 16 at the Hilton Charlotte Uptown in Charlotte, N.C., the conference announced Wednesday.
McKenzie joined the Boston College football program in January after spending the previous three seasons at Saginaw Valley State. He threw for more than 4,300 yards and 31 touchdowns while adding more than 1,600 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns on the ground. The Caledonia, Mich., native earned GLIAC Freshman of the Year honors in 2024 and GLIAC Player of the Year recognition in 2025 while playing for the Cardinals.
Palano arrived at The Heights in January after spending last season at Washington State and his true freshman season at South Dakota State. The Arlington Heights, Ill., native recorded 65 tackles, four quarterback hurries and two pass breakups in 12 games for the Cougars in 2025.
A 2025 ACC Kickoff representative and team captain, Price enters his senior season after leading the Eagles in total tackles in each of the last two seasons. The Baltimore, Md., native started all 12 games in 2025, including three starts at linebacker, and totaled 94 tackles, two interceptions and one fumble recovery on his way to All-ACC Second Team honors.Â
The 2026 ACC Football Kickoff will span three full days of interviews, from July 15–17, at the Hilton Charlotte Uptown in Charlotte, North Carolina. The event will feature all 17 football teams, with ACC Network providing coverage throughout all three days, including live interviews with head coaches and student-athletes, press conferences, and more.
