Abby Dunning Earns CSE Preseason Top-50 Pitcher Honors

Freshmen Adriana Martinez and Bailey Kendziorski earned freshman watchlist honors
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College Softball pitcher Abby Dunning was named to the College Sports Evaluation Preseason Top-50 Pitchers list. The senior grabbed the 30th spot in the rankings and was one of five ACC pitchers to make the list.
Dunning headlined the BC lineup from the circle last season, starting in 28 games. Dunning went 14-14 on the season leading the Eagles with a 2.31 earned run average, pitching 182.0 innings, and 172 strikeouts. Dunning finished the 2024 campaign first in the ACC in strikeouts, innings pitched, and batters struck out looking with 64, finishing 12th in the ACC in ERA.
Joining Dunning on a preseason list of their own are Freshmen Adriana Martinez and Bailey Kendziorski, who were named to Softball America's 2025 Freshman Watchlist. Martinez is a first baseman, while Kendziorski will see time in the circle this season for the Eagles.
