CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Boston College was defeated by No. 3/3 Duke - 88-63 - on Saturday night at Conte Forum. Tonight marked the 33rd all-time meeting between the two programs. Chad Venning and Donald Hand Jr. each finished in double figures for the Eagles. Venning with 19 points on 7-11 from the field. Hand chipped in with 12 points, including three triples.Â

- Venning scored the first three baskets of the game for the Eagles.
- At the 16:52 mark, Hand knocked down the first three-pointer. BC jumped out to a 9-5 lead.
- The Eagles gained a seven-point advantage - 18-11 - off a strong finish by Jayden Hastings. Duke went over two minutes without a basket.
- Duke found a spark and engineered an 11-2 run over the ensuing three minutes. Venning halted the run with his fourth basket of the game, leveling the score at 22.
