CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The No. 12 Boston College women's hockey team prepares for Northeastern in the first round of the 46th Women's Beanpot.
The Eagles will face off against the Huskies on Tuesday, Jan. 14 at Matthews Arena.
Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will stream on NESN.

OFF TO A HOT START

WHAT TO WATCH FOR
- Boston College will meet Northeastern in the first round of the 46th Women's Beanpot on Tuesday night.
- The Eagles and Huskies faced off back in November, with BC picking up a 3-0 win at Matthews Arena.
- Tuesday night marks a rematch of the 2023 title game, which Northeastern took 2-1… it will be the 27th overall meeting between BC and Northeastern in the Beanpot … the Eagles are 11-14-1overall and 11-5-1 as a varsity squad against Northeastern in the Beanpot.
A WIN ON TUESDAY WOULD . . .
- Boston College would improve to 15-6-1 overall.
- Bump the Eagles to 48-54-7 in the all-time series against the Huskies.
- Give BC an overall mark of 35-19-4 in the Beanpot since becoming a varsity program. and 43-41-4 overall.

SCOUTING NORTHEASTERN
- Northeastern currently holds a record of 13-6-1 and a league record of 10-4-1.
- The Huskies are the reining Beanpot Champions, they have won the title two years in a row.
- Northeastern leads the country in penalty kill percentage of 93.3%.
- The Huskies have scored 44 times this year, averaging 2.2 goals a game, while they have let their opponents score 31 times averaging 1.6 goals per game.
- Skylar Iriving leads Northeastern in goals with eight she also leads the team in points with 17.
- Lisa Jonsson has spent the most time between the pipes for the Huskies. Jonsson holds a goals-allowed average of 1.01 and a save percentage of .959.
OFF TO A HOT START
- The Eagles started the second half of the season off undefeated. Through three games BC went 2-0-1 scoring 10 times.
- Grace Campbell only allowed one goal through the two games and had back-to-back shutouts.
- Julia Pellerin recorded seven points through the first three games. Pellerin had four goals and three assists.
