Men’s Soccer Opens ACC Slate Against Syracuse Friday

BC looks to ride the momentum from the opening four games
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College is set to host Syracuse on Friday night for its first ACC match of the 2024 season. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Newton Soccer Field and will be streamed live on ACCNX.
TWO STRAIGHTS WINS
• Boston College picked up its first win of the campaign last Friday, defeating Dartmouth by a score of 2-1
• Moritz Gundelach tallied his first collegiate goal early into the contest before Ask Ekeland scored the game winner in the 73rd minute
• BC claimed a 1-0 victory over Merrimack just two days later when Ekeland found the back of the net in the 55th minute
ACC WEEKLY AWARDS
• After playing a key role in the backline for the Eagles this past week, Gundelach was named the ACC Defensive Player of the Week
