Eagles Begin Play at UConn Invitational on Sunday

The three-day, 54-hole tournament will be held at GreatHorse in Hampden, Mass.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- The Boston College men's golf team heads to Hampden, Mass. to begin play on Sunday at the UConn Invitational at GreatHorse.
The 13-team field will play one 18-hole round over a span of three days. Â The Eagles will tee off from the 1st hole on Sunday, beginning at 9:20 a.m., and will be playing alongside Rhode Island and Sacred Heart.
From the elevated tee boxes to the lush fairways, GreatHorse's thoroughly reimagined and redesigned world-class course traverses breathtaking terrain. Course designer and architect Brian Silva's par-72 layout incorporates natural wetlands, mountainous views and over 207 bunkers. The real championship tees offer golfers over 7,600 yards of pristine golf action.
Former BC golfer Matt Naumec holds the course record at GreatHorse, carding a 65.
