CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.- Boston College women's basketball will head to the Bahamas for the 2024 Baha Mar Hoops Pink Flamingo Championship in Nassau.
The Eagles will play two games on Nov. 25 and 27, facing Ole Miss in the first round before facing the winner/loser of UConn and Oregon State. All games will be streamed live on FloHoops.
Schedule
Monday, Nov. 25 | Boston College vs. Ole Miss | 5 p.m.
Wednesday, Nov. 27 | Boston College vs. UConn/Oregon State | 5:30 p.m. (consolation game) | 7 p.m. (championship game)
It will be the first matchup between the Eagles and Runnin' Rebels, while it's the first of two games against the SEC, as BC faces Arkansas in the SEC-ACC Challenge in December. Ole Miss finished 24-9 last season en route to an NCAA Tournament berth and a first-round win against Marquette.
A win between the Eagles and Huskies would pit two former Big East rivals in the following round, making the contest the first matchup since 2005. UConn went 33-6 and fell shy of a national title appearance, falling to Iowa (71-69) in the Final Four. Â
The Eagles are 0-1 against Oregon State, with the lone matchup going back to the 1992-93 season. The Beavers boasted a record of 27-8 last season, advancing to the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight before falling to eventual national champion, South Carolina.
BC returns a veteran-laden team that features all five starters, top four scorers and 10 letterwinners.
