Boston College Enters ACC Play 4-2
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The No. 16 Eagles (4-2) look to stay hot this weekend as they begin ACC play at home on Friday at 5 p.m. vs. Wake Forest (2-3), and travel north to take on the University of New Hampshire (2-4) on Sunday at 1 p.m.Â
The Eagles enter the weekend leading the ACC in shots (93) and penalty corners (50), while reigning ACC Offensive Player of the Week Yani Zhong leads the conference in points (12), and Peyton Hale ranks third (10). In net, Charley Kramer has recorded the second-most saves (19) in the conference and the second-most saves per game (3.77).
The Demon Deacons are coming off two consecutive wins over Appalachian State and VCU where they outscored their opponents 8-1. Their three losses this season came against No. 6 Iowa, No. 12 Michigan, and No. 8 Harvard. Ellie Todd leads the conference in saves (22) and saves per game (4.40). This will be the 31st matchup all-time between the Eagles and the Deacons, with the Deacons holding the series lead 20-10.
