CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - USA Lacrosse and Boston College/Team USA head coach Acacia Walker-Weinstein have named the staff for the U.S. Women's Senior National Team that will represent the United States in the 2026 World Lacrosse Women's Championship in Japan.
Associate head coach Jen Kent is among those who will join Team USA, where she will be the team's operations administrator.
Kent, who is the team's defensive coordinator, has helped the Eagles become a powerhouse. BC has won back-to-back ACC titles, two national championships since 2021 and 141 wins since 2017, which leads the country.
She's built BC into one of the top defenses in the country, where the Eagles were first in the ACC and fourth in the nation allowing just 8.43 goals per game.
The Eagles have built a strong history with Team USA in recent years. Along with coach Walker-Weinstein and coach Kent heading to Japan for the World Championships, Shea Baker, Shea Dolce, Lydia Colasante and Emma LoPinto recently won the U20 World Championship with the Stars and Stripes.
In 2022, Sam Apuzzo, Dempsey Arsenault, Kenzie Kent and Charlotte North won the World Championships with the senior national team. North and Courtney Taylor will play on Team USA in the World Box Lacrosse Championships next week in Utica, NY.
