Paige Peltier and Sydney Segalla scored in the 2-1 victory over Gardner-Webb.
NEWTON, Mass. - Boston College women's soccer defeated Gardner-Webb 2-1 on Thursday afternoon.
BC controlled the possession for the majority of the first half. Paige Peltier came off the bench to give the Eagles their first goal in the 33rd minute of the game.
Sydney Segalla got the second goal of the day, she scored in the 69th minute of the game.
The Runnin' Bulldogs got their lone goal off a set-piece, where Abby Clark scored off the rebound of her original shot.
BC has scored eight times in the past three games. The last time the Eagles scored eight or more in the first three games was in 2021.
The Eagles return to action on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET against LIU.
