Belle Smith Named CSC Academic All-American

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College lacrosse graduate Belle Smith was named a College Sports Communicator Third-Team Academic All-American on Wednesday.Â
Smith, an Applied Psychology & Human Development major, graduated with a 3.67 GPA in four years at Boston College.Â
The midfielder from Westhampton Beach native finished a stellar four-year career fourth all-time with 294 points, fourth with 197 goals and sixth with 97 assists.Â
Smith was a consensus All-American while she was named ACC Midfielder of the Year for a second straight season. The First-Team All-ACC selection was a team captain this season and totaled 63 points thanks to 43 goals and 20 assists. She recorded a career-high 47 draw controls with 29 ground balls and 18 caused turnovers.Â
She helped the Eagles capture two national championships since 2021, back-to-back ACC titles and 76 wins since her freshman season.Â
