Eagles look to take on the Huskies for the second time this season
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.– The Boston College softball program heads to Storrs, Conn. to face UConn Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.
The Eagles and Huskies faced off earlier this season, with BC defeating UConn, 2-0. The Eagles were able to secure two runs off of a passed ball, and an RBI single. Halie Pappion led the Eagles within the circle letting up three hits and one walk. Pappion had three strikeouts on a 2.34 ERA.Â
Boston College and UConn have met 68 times with the Huskies leading the all-time series, 46-22. The Huskies hold a 20-11 home record when playing the Eagles. BC has won the past two meetings against the Huskies taking the game 4-3 at the Harrington Athletics Village, in 2023.
