Eagles Drop Game One to No. 18 FSU

Boston College falls to No. 18 FSU in game one
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.-- Boston College Eagles fall to No.18 Florida State, 6-0, in the opening game of the three game series at the Harrington Athletics Village, Friday afternoon.
Nicole Giery led off play in the first inning with a double to right field to pick up the first hit of the game for the Eagles. Giery tied the Eagles single season double record with her 15th double of the season. The Eagles were not able to get Giery through home plate.Â
The Seminoles had a hot start as they scored early in the first inning adding one, and two in the third. FSU added three more runs in the sixth and seventh inning.
The Eagles continue the series against No. 18 Florida State tomorrow, April 20 at 1 p.m.Â
