Eagles Return Home for Series with No. 18 Florida State

Eagles face-off Seminoles for a three game series at the Harrington Athletics Village
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.-- The Boston College softball team will continue ACC play at the Harrington Athletics Village against #18 Florida State on April 19 for a three-game series. Florida State is 33-10 on the season, and 12-3 in conference play. The Eagles are 25-16, and 5-10 in conference play.Â
Boston College and Florida State have met 50 times on the diamond with the Seminoles leading the all-time record. The last time the Eagles faced the Seminoles in 2021, Boston College defeated FSU in the second game of the series, 2-0, at the Seminole Softball Complex.Â

- The pitching duo of Makenna Reid and Ashtyn Danley leads the Seminoles in the circle. Reid holds a 3.46 ERA with an impressive 12-1 record pitching 83 innings. Danley follows behind with a 3.69 ERA pitching 85.1 innings.Â
- Within ACC play Ashtyn Danley leads the Seminoles with a 3.24 ERA, pitching 41 innings allowing just 36 hits on 20 runs.Â
- The Eagles pitching staff is ranked fourth in the ACC with a 2.71 ERA. The staff has allowed just 218 hits and 136 runs in 276 innings played. Including 13 shutouts on the season.

- Junior pitcher Abby Dunning leads BC within the circle. Dunning has pitched 56 innings allowing just 49 hits on 38 runs, with an ERA of 2.27.Â
- Dunning ranks ninth in the ACC with a 2.27 ERA with an 11-11 record including five shutouts. Pitching 129.1 innings allowing just 97 hits and 58 runs.Â
