4 runs in the seventh inning secure FSU victory

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.-- The Boston College Eagles fell to No.18 Florida State, 4-1, in the second game of the series at the Harrington Athletics Village, Saturday afternoon.

The Eagles gained an early lead in the first inning off of a Hannah Slike home run. Slike hit her seventh home run of the season in the bottom of the first. Both teams remained locked until the seventh inning. The Seminoles answered, adding on four runs in the top of the inning. BC was unable to respond in the seventh, dropping the frame unanswered.

Abby Dunning led the Eagles inside the circle allowing just three hits on 89 total pitches. Dunning held the Seminoles scoreless through six innings of play.

The Eagles continue the series against No. 18 Florida State tomorrow, April 21 at noon.
