Post led three Eagles in double figures with 19 points
CORAL GABLES, Fla. — Boston College used a second half blitz to win, 67-57, at Miami on Wednesday night at the Watsco Center.
Quinten Post led three Eagles in double figures, with 19 points. Â Post added nine rebounds, two assists, three steals, and a blocked shot. Â Claudell Harris Jr. added 13 points, nine boards, three assists, a blocked shot, and a steal, while Mason Madsen made four 3-pointers, scoring 12 points.
Trailing by 10 in the first half - 30-20 with five minutes remaining - Boston College closed the opening frame on an 8-2 push, capped by a Post trey as the buzzer sounded. Â It marked the seventh time that BC overcame a double-digit deficit to win this season.
With the win, the Eagles move to 16-14 overall and 7-12 in ACC play.

FIRST HALF
- Miami drilled its first three 3-point attempts to take a 9-4 lead less than three minutes into the game
- But a 7-0 push by the Eagles gave them an 11-9 lead at the 14:45 mark.
- BC made 5-of-8 shots from the floor to start the game
- The Hurricanes would respond with a 10-0 run, pulling ahead 19-13 with less than 12 minutes remaining in the half
- Boston College went nearly 8:00 without a field goal before a Post layup with 2:26 left made it 30-23
- Post's second 3-pointer of the game came as at the buzzer of BC's final possession and the Eagles cut the deficit to four points - 32-28 - at the half
- After Miami started the half with two free throws, BC chipped away over the next two minutes, tying the game at 38-38 after a Post trifecta with 17:20 to play
- BC extended that run to 15-2 overall, with three 3-pointers from Mason Madsen, to take a 48-40 lead with 13:25 to play
- The Eagles held Miami to only one field goal while forcing four turnovers over the final 5:31 of regulation
- Over the final 20 minutes, BC registered nine assists in 14 field goals and connected on seven 3-pointers.
- The Eagles notched five of its eight steals in the second half
- The win in Coral Gables is the first for Boston College since Jan. 19, 2010
- Jaeden Zackery's two steals brought him to 160 for his career, moving him into 10th place all-time in BC history
- Zackery also dished out five assists on the night, marking the 10th time this season - sixth in ACC play - that the junior point guard had at least five dimes
- Four Eagles grabbed at least five rebounds, including a team-high nine boards from Claudell Harris Jr. and Quinten Post
- Boston College closes out the regular season on Saturday at Louisville.
- The Eagles and Cards close out their season series on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. on the CW.
