Two-Game Road Swing Starts on Wednesday at Miami

The Eagles and Hurricanes play the second of two regular season games on Wednesday at 7 p.m. on ESPNU
BOSTON COLLEGE VS. MIAMI - ALL-TIME SERIES
- Today's game marks the 58th meeting between the two schools. Miami holds a slim 29-28 lead in the all-time series.
- In ACC regular season play, BC is 11-19 versus the Hurricanes.
- This is the second of two regular season matchups. On Feb. 17, BC won the first contest, 85-77 at Conte Forum.
- The Eagles have lost their last 10 matchups in Coral Gables, last winning at the Watsco Center on Jan. 19, 2010.
- From 1989-2004, both schools were members of the Big East. BC compiled a 15-6 mark versus Miami during that span.
MOST IMPROVED McGLOCKTON
- Devin McGlockton is one of the ACC's Most Improved Players, showing major jumps in several stat categories
- Through 29 games, McGlockton is fourth on the Eagles in scoring (10.6) and second in rebounding (6.0) and blocks (1.0).
- McGlockton's per game averages have increased across the board: scoring +4.6, rebounding +2.0, and blocked shots +0.3.
- In ACC play (18 games), McGlockton is averaging 12.2 points and 6.2 rebounds in 32 minutes per game.
- Year-over-year, he has almost tripled his scoring (+7.0) and more than doubled his rebounding (+3.8) in ACC games.
- McGlockton leads the ACC in FG percentage (ACC games only) at .610 (89-146); up from .500 a year ago.
- The 6-7 forward ranks second in the ACC in effective FG% at .626 - a metric which adjusts for 3-point shooting.
- McGlockton registered one of 17 30-point performances in ACC play - a 30-point performance at Georgia Tech.
- He has two double-doubles and has set new career-highs in scoring (30), rebounding (14), and blocks (3) this year.
POST AMONG NATION'S ELITE
- Quinten Post is one of the best players in the country and his stat line for the Eagles this season is perfect evidence.
- He is the only major conference player in the nation averaging 16.7 points, 7.9 boards, 2.9 assists, and 1.9 blocks per game.
- The last ACC player to average that season stat line: Wake Forest's Tim Duncan in 1996-97.
- Using only points and rebounds: Post is one of seven major conference players averaging at least 16.7 points and 7.9 rebounds per game; two in the ACC (Omier); five of those players are on the Wooden midseason list.
- Using only points and assists: Post is one of 21 major conference players to average at least 16.7 points and 2.9 assists.Â
- Post is also posting a 50/40/80 line of shooting percentages - at 51.4 FG%, 44.2 3FG%, and 81.5 FT%.
- Post is one of three players in the nation to post those percentages (min. 16.0 ppg).
- It's not a small sample: in 77 games at BC since 2021-22, Post has registered nearly a 50/40/80 shooting line - .516 FG; .419 3FG; .796 FT. - the only active player (min. 10.0 ppg) to post such shooting lines since the start of 2021-22- present.
- Over the past three seasons vs. major conference opponents (60 games), Post is averaging 13.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.3 blocks while shooting .518/.430/.792.

MASON MADSEN, FOR STARTERS
- Since entering the starting lineup six games ago, Mason Madsen is averaging 14.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.4 assists.
- On Feb. 24 at N.C. State, Madsen scored 21 points (8-11 FG; 4-7 3FG) to go with seven boards and two assists.
- Madsen drilled a career-high seven 3-pointers en route to a career-high 25 points in a win over Miami on Feb. 17.
- Over the last seven games, Madsen is also posting a 1.70:1 ATR, with 17 assists and 10 turnovers in 215 minutes.
- At Florida State, he made 4-of-8 3-pointers, scoring 14 point, while tallying 11 points, four rebounds, four assists vs. Louisville.
- In his first start of the seven-game string, Madsen had a team-high 15 points (6-11 FG) at Duke on Feb. 10.
- In eight total games as a starter this year, he is averaging 14.1 points per game and has made 22-of-52 3-pointers.
- In the 21 games he came off the bench, Madsen averaged 6.1 points per game in nearly 17 minutes per outing.
ALWAYS LOOK FOR THE HELPERS
- As a playmaker, Jaeden Zackery ranks among the top players nationally in three different categories.
- He is 69th nationally in assist/turnover ratio (2.39:1), 110th in total assists (122), and 116th in assists per game (4.2).
- Earlier this month, Zackery became the 14th different Eagle since 1996-97 to reach the 100 assist mark in a season.
- Zackery's 122 assists are the most by a BC player since Ky Bowman (125) during the 2018-19 campaign.
- Jaeden Zackery is one of eight Boston College players to tally at least 122 assists and 53 steals in a single season.
- The others: Michael Adams (2x), Troy Bell (2x), Howard Eisley (2x), Ryan Sidney, Duane Woodward, John Bagley, and Jim Sweeney.
DISHIN' AND SWISHIN'
- Boston College's top three scorers - Quinten Post, Claudell Harris Jr., and Jaeden Zackery - are also its top three assists men.
- Zackery ranks third in scoring (11.6) and first in assists (4.2), Post is first in scoring (16.7) and second in assists (2.9), and Harris is second in scoring (13.1) and third in assists (2.1). The trio combines for over 9.2 of the 14.4 assists per game.
