Five Eagles in top 10 at Intercollegiate at Prospect Bay

Stephany Kim led BC with a fifth place finish
GRASONSVILLE, Md. -- Boston College placed second at the Intercollegiate at Prospect Bay. Â The Eagles compiled a team score of 906 (305-303-298).Â
All six BC golfers finished in the top 15, with five in the top 10. Â Stephany Kim led BC with a fifth-place finish (227). Â Kim improved her score in each of the three rounds, opening with a 77 and following that up with scores of 76 and 74. Kim led the field in pars (41).
Cynthia Zhang was a stroke and one place behind Kim, finishing in sixth place (228). Â Zhang's best round of the tournament was her final round 73. She was second in total pars (40).
Canice Screene was seventh (230), posting scores of 79, 75, and 76 for the weekend. Â Angel Lin and Maya Obermueller tied for eighth (232). Â Lin carded rounds of 77, 75, and 80. Â Obermuller registered two rounds of 75 in the first and final rounds. She ranked fourth in par 3 scoring (3.08 avg, +1). Â Emily Böhrer tied for 13th (234) to round out the Eagles' golfers.
As a team, BC led the field in par 3 (3.21 avg, +15) and par 5 (5.14 avg, +10) and accumulated 219 pars and 18 birdies.
The Eagles return to action on April 18-21 at the 2024 ACC Championship, held at Porters Neck C.C. in Wilmington, N.C.
