Eagles Post 10th Place Finish at ACC Championship

Cynthia Zhang led BC with a 26th place finish
WILMINGTON, N.C. -- Boston College finished 10th at the 2024 ACC Championship, held at Porters Neck Country Club.
The Eagles posted a 54-hole team score of 881. Â After an opening round 297, BC improved by eight shots over the opening round, shooting a 1-over par 289 on Friday. Â Boston College compiled a 290 team score on Saturday's final day of play and led the field with total number of pars, with 189.
Cynthia Zhang was BC's top finisher, tying for 20th place (71-73-74=218). Â Zhang's best round was a 1-under 71 on Thursday's open round. Â She carded a second round 73 and finished with a final round 74.
Emily Böhrer tied for 38th place (78-70-74=222). She fired the low round of the week for the Eagles - a second round 70 (-2).Â
Stephany Kim and Angel Lin tied for 42nd place. Â Kim's (75-73-75=223) best round was a 1-over 73 on Friday, while Lin (74-77-72=223) carded an even-par 72 on Saturday. Â Canice Screene tied for 45th place (77-73-75=225).
