Eagles Face No. 13 North Carolina in Pink Game

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - No. 4 Boston College lacrosse hosts No. 13 North Carolina in an ACC championship rematch on Saturday at 12 p.m. inside Alumni Stadium on ACC Network. Saturday's contest is also the annual Pink Game.Â
Last Time Out
The Eagles dominated Duke in an 18-3 win on the road last Saturday in Durham. Rachel Clark led the offense with four goals and one assist for five points, while Emma LoPinto tied a season-high with five points (3 G, 2 A). Four players recorded hat tricks and nine found the back of the net. Kayla Martello's three scores and one helper gave her four points and Belle Smith found the back of the net three times. Ryan Smith led the way with seven draw controls and two caused turnovers. Cassidy Weeks tallied two caused turnovers with one score as well. Shea Dolce had her best performance of the season with a season-high 11 saves and a .786 save percentage. Becky Browndorf led the team with four ground balls and one caused turnover.Â
A Win Would

Dolce Named IWLCA/ACC Player of the Week
It was the first weekly award of the season for Dolce and the second of the season for the Eagles. It's also the second IWLCA weekly honor and the third ACC award for the sophomore. Dolce played a pivotal role in the Eagles' 18-3 win over Duke last Saturday, limiting the Blue Devils to a season low in goals scored. The Darien, Conn. native made a season-high 11 saves and a career-best .786 save percentage when facing at least 20 shot attempts. It was the fourth time in Dolce's career she's made double-digit stops, while she is first in the ACC and fifth in the nation with a 7.91 goals against  average. Her .460 save percentage is third in the country and 35th in the nation.Â
Six Named ILWomen.com Midseason All-American
Sydney Scales was named to the first team, while Clark made the second-team list. Davis and Becky Browndorf were named all-third team members, and B. Smith and Cassidy Weeks made honorable mention.Â
Scouting North Carolina (7-4, 3-2 ACC)
