Eagles Set to Face Dartmouth

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.– The Boston College softball program heads to Dartmouth for the Eagles first away game in two weeks, to face-off the Big Green on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m.

Boston College and Dartmouth have met 16 times on the diamond with BC leading the series 14-2. The last time the two teams met in 2021 the Eagles defeated Dartmouth 6-4 at the Harrington Athletics Village.

The Eagles are coming off of two weeks at home with a 8-1 record on home field. The Eagles took the series against Syracuse last weekend finishing 2-1, sweeping the Orange Friday, March 22 in a double header.

Boston College and Dartmouth have played 16 times that dates back to 2004.

The Eagles have won 11 straight games against the Big Green.
Boston College is looking to get back in the win column, and the Green are looking to extend their victories. The Eagles are 20-9 overall and 3-3 in ACC play. Dartmouth is 4-8 overall and split their first weekend of Ivy League play to Harvard.

DUNNING, PITCHING POWER

Boston College's right handed pitcher Abby Dunning is fifth in the ACC with an ERA of 1.09 with 102 innings pitched, the most in the ACC by over 17 innings.
Dunning is ninth in Eagles history with 326 strikeouts. She needs just 23 more strikeouts to break Britney Thompson's mark of 349, set in 2007.
Dunning threw her second career shutout against Iona on March 16th allowing just one walk on seven strikeouts.
