DURHAM, N.C.  - Boston College showcased a dominating bounce-back 18-3 victory against Duke on Saturday afternoon in Koskinen Stadium.Â
Boston College is 9-2 and 4-1 in the ACC while Duke falls to 6-5 and 2-3 in the conference.Â
Rachel Clark led the offense with four goals and one assist for five points, while Emma LoPinto tied a season-high with five points (3 G, 2 A). Four players recorded hat tricks and nine found the back of the net. Kayla Martello's three scores and one helper gave her four points and Belle Smith found the back of the net three times.Â
Ryan Smith led the way with seven draw controls and two caused turnovers. Cassidy Weeks tallied two caused turnovers with one score as well. Shea Dolce had her best performance of the season with a season-high 11 saves and a .786 save percentage. Becky Browndorf led the team with four ground balls and one caused turnover.Â
The Eagles wasted no time in getting off to a fast start, surging to a 5-0 lead capped off by Weeks' score in the first 4:24 of the contest. Andrea Reynolds led the attack with a goal and assist.Â
After the Blue Devils got on the board, Davis, Molly Driscoll, and LoPinto reeled off three straight to give BC an 8-1 lead after the first.Â
B. Smith scored two of her goals in the second, helping BC capture a 12-2 lead going into halftime.Â
Boston College's offense continued its dominance as it tacked on five more in the third to go into the fourth with a 17-3 lead. Clark's fourth goal was the lone score in the final period. BC has won its last three matchups against Duke.Â
Boston College returns to action next Saturday against North Carolina at noon in the annual Pink Game and a rematch of the ACC Championship.Â
