Bats Stay Hot and Eagles Take Down Merrimack in Seven Innings

Kyle Wolff, Vince Cimini, and Cameron Leary all log multi-RBI games in bounce-back win
The offense began with an RBI double from Cameron Leary (Bethpage, N.Y.), and continued with an RBI single from Vince Cimini (Scranton, Pa.) and a sacrifice fly from Parker Landwehr (Baltimore, Md.) to give BC a 3-2 lead that they would not relinquish.
Cimini finished with a perfect day at the plate, going 3-for-3 with three RBI and two free passes. Leary kept pace, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, five runs scored, and two walks.
The Eagles added in the second inning, with the first of two doubles from Kyle Wolff (Andover, Mass.), clearing the bases for a three-RBI knock. After homering twice on Sunday, Wolff continued to punish pitchers with a 2-for-3 day at the plate, with two doubles and six RBI.
Sam McNulty (Cambridge, Mass.) and Cam Caraher (Plymouth, Mass.) both added RBIs, McNulty on an RBI single and Caraher on an RBI double.
Gavin Hasche (1-0) earned the first win of his college career for the Eagles, and James Borsari (0-1) was tagged with the loss for Merrimack.
Boston College will turn right around to face Siena at 3 p.m. on Wednesday for their second of two midweeks before a trip to Pittsburgh this weekend.
