Eagles Fall in First Game of the Weekend
BOCA RATON, Fla.-- The Eagles fell to FGCU in the first match-up of the Owl Classic Thursday afternoon, at the Joan Joyce Field.Â
The Eagles were well matched in the third meeting of the two-teams this season. The board remained scoreless until late in the bottom of the fourth inning with the FGCU bases loaded, a ground ball brought the runner on third home. The Eagles were not able to respond leaving the score 1-0 FGCU.Â
The Eagles return to action this evening at 6:00 p.m. against FAU at the Joan Joyce Field.Â
