Eagles Fall for the First Time This Season Against LIU

FORT MYERS, Fla.-- Boston College fell to LIU in first game of the day at the FGCU Tournament. The game looked to be a close one as the Sharks led 4-1 at the bottom of the fourth. Jordan Stephens was the Eagle to get BC on the board in the bottom of the fourth, with a double to left field rounding the bases off of a Jules Shields bunt.
The Sharks hit back in the fifth and sixth with unanswered runs, and finished off the match-up in the sixth with five runs to secure a 9-1 victory.
Stevens led the Eagles at the plate, with one run off one hit.
