CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Twelve current and past Boston College lacrosse players will compete with the U.S. Women's Senior National Team during the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Presidents Cup from Nov. 22-24 in Florida.
A total of 44 players will take part in the three-day event. The U.S. will hold a Blue-White exhibition game on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Premier Sports Campus in Lakewood Ranch, Fla., followed by a public autograph session. The U.S. women will then scrimmage Boston College the following day (Nov. 24) at 12:30 p.m., also at the Premier Sports Campus. Admission to both games is free of charge.
It's the first training camp under Senior National Team and Boston College head coach, Acacia Walker-Weinstein. Coach Walker-Weinstein was named the head coach of Team USA last season. She was the youngest player on the 1999 U.S. U19 squad that won the world championship in Perth, Australia and then was on the 2009 U.S. women's senior team that captured the world title in Prague, Czech Republic. In addition, associate head coach Jen Kent was named the team operations administrator earlier this fall in September.
Boston College has been well represented on Team USA. Since last season, Dolce, LoPinto, Baker and Lydia Colasante won gold with the U20 National Team in Hong Kong. In addition, North and Courtney Taylor won Gold with the National Box Lacrosse Team in the first Box Lacrosse World Championships. Apuzzo, Arsenault, Kent, North, Weeks, Baker, Dolce, Davis and LoPinto participated in the USA Experience with the Team USA Sixes Roster.
The Eagles are coming off a second national title since 2021 and back-to-back ACC championships.
