Boston College Men's Cross Country team opens its season on Saturday morning.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Boston College Men's Cross Country team kicks off its 2024 season with the Paul Short Run in Bethlehem, Pa. on Saturday morning.Â

The 50th annual Paul Short run will take place over the course of two days, with high school races taking place on Friday, October 4 and college races taking place on Saturday, October 5.  The Eagles will be racing in the College Male Gold Race at 11 a.m., which will be an eight-kilometer course through the Murray H. Goodman Campus of Lehigh University.Â
The field consists of 45 teams, with a mix of division 1, 2, and 3 schools. The race is highlighted by No. 12 ranked Harvard and No. 23 ranked Syracuse on the Men's side.
Coach Pete Watson's thoughts on the meet and the upcoming season, "Excited to get the men on the start line. The progress in training this year has been very impressive and now the guys have the opportunity to make strides towards being a competitive program in the ACC and northeast."
