
BC Finishes Program Best Eighth Place at NCAA Northeast Regional

HOPKINTON, N.H. – Boston College Men's Cross Country battled the cold conditions, taking home a program-best eighth-place finish at the 2025 NCAA Cross Country Northeast Regional at Hopkinton Fairgrounds. It is the first time the men have finished in the top ten as a team since 2005.
Theodor Schucht led the way for the Eagles, trailing the lead pack throughout the 10k race. The Berlin, Germany native crossed the line at 29:41.3 for 14th place. His course time is a new personal best in the 10k, beating his previous time set at last year's Northeast Regional Championships by nearly a minute.
Following Colin Peattie was 43rd place with a time of 30:26.1, a new personal best. Next to cross the line was Mateo Bianchi, finishing the 10k racecourse in 30:43.1 for a 62nd place finish.
Concluding the scoring runners for Boston College were Aidan Brancaccio, finishing 67th in a personal best time of 30:48.1, and Edward Sullivan in 79th place at 30:55.9, also a personal best.
Patrick Donnelly (31.03.0) finished 88th, and Sam Ellis (31:40.5) finished 137th to round out the lineup.
