
Andrea Daley Named to Cheryl Miller Award Watch List

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College senior Andrea Daley was named one of the 20 players for the 2024-25 Cheryl Miller Award, recognizing the top small forwards in the country.Â
The Cheryl Miller Award, in its eighth year, honors the top small forwards in women's Division I women's college basketball. It is named after the three-time Naismith Player of the Year and Class of 1995 Hall of Famer. Daley is one of three players from the ACC to be recognized by the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.Â
Daley is coming off a career season in which she finished second with a career-high 13.2 points per game, increasing her scoring output by 3.2 points. Her team-high and personal-best 50.3 percent shooting percentage was fifth in the ACC, while she was third on the team in rebounding (5.2) and steals (1.5).
The Miami, Fla. native scored in double figures in 24 games and registered five 20-point outings. She was one of nine players in the nation to average at least 13.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.5 steals and shoot 50 percent or better from the field.
Daley enters the season 231 points away from becoming the 32nd member of the 1,000-point club.Â
