Eagles picked up their first ACC road victory since 2021
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College women's soccer picked up an ACC road victory on Thursday night.
This marks BC's first ACC road win since Oct. 15, 2021, when the Eagles took down Louisville.
BC's offense came out strong attacking the Wolfpack's goal. The Eagles landed a goal when Sydney Segalla took the ball to the baseline and crossed it to Ava Lung who found the back of the net 10 minutes into the match.
BC held the 1-0 lead after the first 45 minutes.
NC State pick in the equalizer in the 55th minute Jade Bordeleau.
Aislin Streicek put in the game-winner in the 76th minute. Ella Richards fed the ball to Streicek who gave the Eagles the 2-1 victory.
The Eagles continue their road trip as they travel to take on Clemson on Sunday, Oct. 6.
