Wiebke Willebrandt made eight saves for the Eagles
CLEMSON, S.C. – Boston College women's soccer was defeated by Clemson in ACC action on Sunday afternoon by a score of 2-0.
BC drops to 10-3-2 overall and 2-2-1 in league play, while Clemson is now 5-5-2 overall with a 1-4-0 conference record.
The Tigers struck their first goal in the 18th minute to give Clemson the 1-0 advantage at halftime. The second goal came less than a minute after the second half to double the lead.
Sydney Segalla, Bella Douglas, Ava Lung and Amalia Dray each had one shot on goal during the contest.
Wiebke Willebrandt made eight saves in goal for BC.
The Eagles take on Florida State on Saturday evening. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at home and will be streamed live on ACCNx.
