The Eagles' rally in the fourth quarter fell short in a 71-64 setback to then-No. 25 Syracuse on Sunday. Teya Sidberry and Dontavia Waggoner led the Eagles in scoring with 12 points. Both players also recorded six rebounds and three steals. Andrea Daley registered eight points and set career highs in assists (5), steals (5) and grabbed five boards. T'yana Todd scored 11 with three rebounds and two assists. Kaylah Ivey rounded out the leading scorers with eight. Lili Krasovec tied for the team lead with six rebounds. Trailing by as much as 20 in the second half, BC made things interesting in the fourth as an 11-2 run to start the fourth quarter sliced the lead to seven. The Orange was able to hold onto the lead, and despite leading by nine with under a minute left, 3-pointers on back-to-back possessions brought the deficit to five. But Syracuse pulled out the win at the free-throw line.Â
