Todd Invited to U19 Training Camp for Team Canada

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Sophomore guard T'Yana Todd has been invited to the Team Canada U19 training camp roster. Todd is one of 15 players who were invited, while training camp will take place at Humber College from June 30-July 8 ahead of this summer's FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup 2023.

The FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup 2023 will take place from July 15-23, 2023 in Madrid, Spain and will feature the best 16 teams in the world. All the action will be streaming live on FIBA's YouTube channel.

Todd played for the U18 squad last summer in the FIBA U18 Women's Americas Championship 2022 in Argentina, where she helped her squad capture the silver medal. Todd was named to the Championship All-Star 5 after leading the team in scoring and 3-pointers made.

She is coming off her first season with the Eagles, averaging 10.0 points, 2.5 rebounds and led the team shooting 88.6 percent from the charity stripe.
