Lacrosse Earns No. 3 Seed in NCAA Tournament

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College lacrosse team enters the 2023 NCAA Tournament the No. 3 seed, as the selection committee revealed the 29 teams in the field on Sunday evening.
All games hosted by Boston College will be at Newton Field.
Boston College will host the first and second rounds of the tournament starting on Friday. The Eagles will face the winner of UConn and Penn on Sunday at 1 p.m.Â
It's the 11th appearance in program history for the Eagles and the 10th straight berth. BC has played in the last five national championships, highlighted by the 2021 title win against Syracuse. The Final Four takes place at the Wakemed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C.Â
Boston College enters the tournament on a 10-game win streak after capturing both the ACC regular season title and ACC Championship, while owning a 16-3 mark.Â
