
Softball Falls To Louisville to Close Out Series

Eagles are now 21-28 on the season
LOUISVILLE, KY – Boston College lost to Louisville 8-0 on Sunday afternoon. The Eagles move to 21-28 on the season and 3-18 in the ACC while the Cardinals improve to 35-14 and 16-4 in conference play.
Louisville started quick in this one, they scored four second inning runs on hits from Paige Geraghty and Easton Lotus. Then, Taylor Roby hit a three run shot in the fourth to make the score 7-0 and seal the game for the Cardinals.
For BC, Abby Dunning got the starting nod, she pitched two innings, recording two strikeouts and allowing two hits. Graduate Susannah Anderson also saw time in the circle, she also pitched two innings, recording three strikeouts in eight total at bats.
BC Softball will conclude their season next weekend as they take on Syracuse for a three game series.
