Eagles currently hold a 16-13 record after going 1-2 against UNC this past weekend
Last time out for the Eagles
This past weekend, BC hosted North Carolina in their home opening series of the 2023 season. On Friday's doubleheader, the Eagles won the first game 3-1. Sophomore Abby Dunning pitched another complete game for her sixth win as a starter this season. She allowed just three hits and one run in 24 at bats and recorded six strikeouts as well. She also tied her career high in strikeouts with eight in Sunday's game. Boston College had played well for much of that third game, leading 3-2 all the way until the sixth inning but unfortunately more errors from the pitching staff and the outfield cost BC the game and allowed the Tar Heels to put together a six run inning going on to an 8-3 win. Sophomore Hannah Slike had another good weekend at the plate, she had 10 total at bats, recording four hits, two doubles and a home run with a batting average of .400.
