RALEIGH, N.C – Boston College lost to NC State 3-2 on Sunday afternoon in the final game of the series. BC moves to 15-10 on the season and the Wolfpack improve to 10-17. It was a defensive showdown in Sunday's game three. The BC defense played a great game for much of the way, and they were finally able to get on the board on runs from Erika Andal and Abi Knight however it was the closing moments of the game that cost the Eagles, they held a 2-1 in the bottom of the seventh until the Wolfpack scored runs on the final two at bats.Â
Graduate pitcher Susannah Anderson got the start in the circle for BC, she pitched a complete game, recording seven strikeouts, and allowing just four hits in 22 at bats.Â
