Boston College Edged at Northwestern in Road Tilt

EVANSTON, Ill. - No. 3 Boston College lacrosse fell to No. 5 Northwestern in a narrow 15-14 defeat on Sunday afternoon in Ryan Fieldhouse.Â
The Eagles are 2-1 to the season, while the Wildcats are 2-1.
BC held a 10-6 lead in the first half and controlled the momentum going into the break.Â
However, the Wildcats kept the BC offense in check to four goals in the final two periods.Â
NU scored four straight times in the final quarter to take a 15-13 lead. Jenn Medjid's score with cut the deficit to one, but Boston College wasn't able to find the back of the net.Â
Four Eagles netted hat tricks on the afternoon. Rachel Hall and Shea Dolce saw action between the posts for BC.Â
BC returns to action next Saturday at 12 p.m. against Duke in the ACC opener in Fish Field House.
