
McQuide Breaks School Record at David Hemery Valentine Invitaitonal

Max McQuide finished 7th out of 246 runners in the 400m dash with a record time of 47.69.
BOSTON – Sophomore Max McQuide etched his name into the Boston College record books this weekend at the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational - setting a new school record in the 400m dash with a time of 47.69. McQuide finished seventh out of 246 runners in the event.
Cruz Brown also put together an impressive meet - placing 42nd out of 328 participants in the 800m dash (1:15.47) and earning fifth place as a member of the DMR alongside Damon Frabotta, Eddie Kelly, and Edward Tristine (9:44.41).
Steven Jackson finished in the top quarter of the mile run - finishing 100th out of 432 runners with a time of 4:05.96. He was followed by Jack Carter (4:13.00) and Edward Tristine (4:13.69), who placed 216th and 225th respectively.
