Eagles Start The Season 2-0 After Win Against USF

TAMPA, FLA– Boston College began their season on Friday in the USF Tournament. The Eagles beat USF 4-2 after defeating Illinois State earlier in the day to start their season 2-0.Â
Graduate pitcher Susannah Anderson got the start and the win for BC against the Bulls, she recorded four strikeouts and gave up just five hits in seven innings pitched and had a 2.00 ERA.Â
Senior Abigail Knight had an outstanding performance this afternoon, she had two hits, four RBI, and the game winning three run homer run at the top of the seventh to put the Eagles ahead 4-2. Junior Nicole Giery and Sophomore Alexis Dale each scored runs of their own as well.Â
BC Softball will be back in action tomorrow for games against Saint Joseph's and Florida.
