BOSTON COLLEGE VS. HOLY CROSS - ALL-TIME SERIES
- Today's game marks the 114th meeting between the two schools. Holy Cross is BC's most common opponent, all-time.
- Boston College is 55-58 all-time vs. Holy Cross, dating back to 1906. The last meeting came on Nov. 12, 2021, with BC winning, 85-55.
- BC has won six of its last seven - and 18 of the last 20 - matchups.
POST, PARTY OF ONE
- Quinten Post is the only player in America averaging 20.0 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 2.1 blocks per game.
- Since 1996-97, only one other player has posted that stat line for an entire season: Trayce Jackson-Davis from Indiana.

- Post ranks fourth in scoring and seventh in rebounding among players on the Naismith & Wooden Award watch lists.
- Among players on the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar watch list, he is third in scoring, eighth in rebounds, and fourth in blocks.Â
- He is also posting nearly a 50/50/90 line of shooting percentages, connecting on 53.1% from the floor, 48.5% from the 3-point line, and 87.5% from the FT line. He is the only player posting those percentages (min. 15.0 ppg).
- Post is 12th in FG%, second in 3FG%, and 2nd in FT% among players on the Naismith & Wooden Award watch lists.

CAN'T KNOCK THE HUSTLE

- Zackery tallied a career-high 21 points in nearly 39 minutes of play at The Citadel on Nov. 10.
- Last time out against N.C. State, Zackery led BC with 20 points to go with six boards, four assists, and three steals.
- Against Harvard, Zackery added 18 points (6-15 FG), making all five of his free throw attempts.
- When Zackery goes to the free throw line at least five times, BC is 3-2 this year, was 7-2 in 2022-23, and is 12-5 all-time.
- Zackery has committed one or fewer turnovers in four games in 2023-24 and has 10 total turns in 204 minutes of play so far.
- Boston College has won six of its last eight games when Zackery commits one or fewer turnovers in a game.

A HELPING HAND FOR 2023-24
- Donald Hand Jr. came off the bench to score a career-best 16 points last time out against Central Connecticut.
- Hand made 5-of-9 shots from the floor, including 3-of-6 from the perimeter and 3-of-4 from the foul line.
- He scored 11 of his 16 points in the second half, also adding three rebounds and two steals.
- It was his second double-digit scoring output of the season - he also had 14 points in a win at The Citadel on Nov. 10.
- Hand - who missed much of the 2022-23 season due to injury - made 5-of-11 shots (2-5 3FG) in the second game of the year.
- Last year, Hand Jr. tore his ACL after :37 of play in the first half vs. Detroit Mercy - game two of the season - on Nov. 11, 2022.
- After successful surgery on Nov. 30, 2022, the 6-5 guard relentlessly attacked his rehabilitation.
- Despite being fully cleared for action during this past summer, Hand did not play in the Eagles' three-game European tour.
MIGHTY LOOKING FOR SOPHOMORE SEASON GAINS
- In his second season at the Heights, Armani Mighty is making an impact on the BC frontcourt.
- Over his last three games, Mighty is averaging 2.0 points, 1.3 boards, 1.0 assists, and 1.0 in 10 minutes of action
- Mighty put on nearly 20 pounds of muscle between the start of his first and second seasons of college basketball.
- He earned an invitation to the training camp for Canada's U23 national team as part of Global Jam 2023.
STRONG GAME AGAINST CCSU
- In his most extended playing time of the season, Elijah Strong tallied nine points, a rebound, and an assist vs. CCSU.
- Strong connected on 4-of-7 shots from the floor and 1-of-2 from the charity stripe in 16 minutes of play.
McBLOCKTON
- BC is 16-6 when Devin McGlockton blocks at least one shot and 9-1 when he blocks at least two shots.
- The sophomore forward has registered at least one block in seven of nine games in 2023-24 and two blocks in four games.
- The versatile 6-7 post presence is averaging 1.3 blocked shots per game in 28 minutes of playing time.
BOSTON'S NEW BIG THREE
- Quinten Post (20.0 ppg), Claudell Harris Jr. (13.5), and Jaeden Zackery (12.3) account for nearly 60% of BC's scoring.
- Through nine games, the trio is averaging close to 46 of BC's 76.3 points per outing.
- The trio account for over 40% of BC's rebounds, 60% of assists, 50% of blocks, 50% of steals, and 60% of 3-pointers made.
 MADSEN WITH CONSISTENT CONTRIBUTIONS OFF BENCH
- Through the first nine games this season, Mason Madsen has come off the bench to make big plays in a key reserve role.
- Last time out vs. CCSU, Madsen had 15 points, seven boards, four assists, and three steals. All were season highs.
- Prior to that game, he has scored nine points twice this year - versus Fairfield and against Richmond.
- Against Harvard, he grabbed four boards and made a key blocked shot with just under seven minutes to play.
- One of the most consistent guards for BC, Madsen has only 19 turnovers over his last 29 games/530 minutes played.
- He led BC in 3-pointers made last season, connecting on 40 shots from beyond the arc.
QP, THE LANDLORD, AND THE BIG FUNDAMENTAL - "VIDEO GAME NUMBERS"
- Against Harvard, Quinten Post registered 20 points, 19 rebounds, five blocked shots, a steal and two assists in the win.
- The double-double was Post's third in four games and his 19 rebounds and five blocks were new career-highs.
- Since 1996-97, only two other players in the ACC have posted similar stat lines: Shelden Williams (Duke); Tim Duncan (Wake)
- Williams had 21 points, 19 rebounds, five blocks, three assists, and two steals on Dec. 4, 2005 against Virginia Tech.
- Duncan posted 22 points, 22 boards, five blocks, and two assists in a win over Saint Mary's on March 14, 1997.
- Over the last 25 years, two Boston College players have had games with at least 20 points and 19 rebounds.
- Ryan Anderson had 23 points and 19 boards (three blocks) against UNH on Dec. 16, 2012 and Ryan Sidney had 22 points and 19 rebounds (9 assists) against St. Bonaventure on Dec. 4, 2002.
BRINGING YOU THE BEST OF THE 80'S AND 90'S
- Boston College's 89 points in the season opener vs. Fairfield was the highest single-game scoring total of the Earl Grant era.
- In nine-plus seasons between College of Charleston and Boston College, Earl Grant-coached teams are 41-6 when they score at least 80 points, 19-3 when they score at least 85, and 6-2 when scoring 90 or more.
